Athithi Devo Bhava ‘is a genre movie … Tried to make the audience laugh for the first hour and thrill for a while after the interval. As such, it is not a thriller film it is a plot to prolong the film. None of the comedy episodes with Saptagiri comedy was the workout. Zabardast Emmanuel appeared in one scene. It’s not even funny. The twists and turns in the film are not very interesting. Comedy scenes are not funny.
Adi Sai Kumar tried to do justice to the character. Acted in his own style. Nothing seemed new. The heroine Nuveksha looked beautiful. Well done in terms of performance as well. Rohini played the role of Adi Sai Kumar’s mother wonderfully. She has done similar roles in the past. However … once again Rohini’s performance is impressive. while mentioned earlier Saptagiri, Emmanuel, Adurs Raghu did not laugh. If there was a comedy workout in the movie … what good! Comedy or … proper direction, treatment or … the movie has become boring.
