At the beginning of the movie, an attempt is made on the life of an aging don, Senapathy. The don has three sons the eldest one, Varadan is hot-tempered, the second, Thyagu (Arun Vijay), a dark horse, and the third one Ethi, the least favorite. They were all want to find out the person behind the attempt. The suspicion is on a rival, Chinnappadas.
If the initial set up of movie instantly reminds you of The Godfather, you are not wrong. And it is intentional. But it is only as the plot unfolds that you realize that Mani Ratnam is giving a delicious twist to the classic gangster tale. What if ‘family’ the clue of the saga – isn’t really sacred? This movie had been long waiting for its release. Production of this movie was started in April 2017 & was expected to release on March 2018. But due to “Thimiru Pudichavan” the release date got postponed as this movie tool half of the screens allocated to Sei.
This movie is a story about a young boy who wants to be an actor & falls in love with a rich girl. As he is not doing any good in his career he plans to join his fathers work. One day during his daily work he gets involved in an accident along with a gangster that brings chaos into his life.
After such long waiting, the movie will finally release on 16 November, where we will see how Nakul gets through all the trouble caused by the gangster.
