The Telugu remake of the Malayalam film Ayyappanam Koshiyum, Bheemla Nayak Movie and starring Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati, is scheduled to hit the theaters in January 2022 during Sankranthi. The makers revealed this through a behind-the-scenes video that shows the two lead actors on the sets.
Directed by Sagar K Chandra and produced by Sithara Entertainment, the film features Pawan Kalyan and Rana recreating parts of Biju Menon and Prithviraj Sukumaran from the original. The crew of the Telugu film includes cinematographer Ravi K Chandran and composer SS Thaman.

Pawan Kalyan, a Telugu remake, is stepping into the role of Biju Menon from the original, with the one of the famous actors Rana Daggupati playing the character played by Prithviraj.
In the first glimpse video, Pawan Kalyan plays a policeman named Bhimla Nayak wearing a black shirt and a dark gray lunch. He has an intense expression on his face and calls out to a man named Daniel (Danny) played by Rana Daggubatti and beats up some goons.
