Chekka Chivantha Vaanam Movie Story Line
Chekka Chivantha Vaanam is a 2018 Tamil crime thriller movie co-written and directed by Mani Ratnam. The movie features Arvind Swami, Silambarasan, Arun Vijay, Vijay Sethupathi, Jyothika, Aishwarya Rajesh, Aditi Rao Hydari.Music composed by A.R. Rahman.This movie produced by Mani Ratnam, A Subaskaran.
At the beginning of the movie, an attempt is made on the life of an aging don, Senapathy. The don has three sons the eldest one, Varadan is hot-tempered, the second, Thyagu (Arun Vijay), a dark horse, and the third one Ethi, the least favorite. They were all want to find out the person behind the attempt. The suspicion is on a rival, Chinnappadas.
If the initial set up of movie instantly reminds you of The Godfather, you are not wrong. And it is intentional. But it is only as the plot unfolds that you realize that Mani Ratnam is giving a delicious twist to the classic gangster tale. What if ‘family’ the clue of the saga – isn’t really sacred? What if they are more concerned about who among them will succeed their father rather than in finding out the man who almost killed their father?
