Gangubai Katiawadi Bollywood Drama Movie, Sanjay Leela Bhansali Helm. Movie actress Alia Bhatt is the heroine. Hussain Zaidi provided the screenplay for the film. The film depicts a young woman named Gangubai Kothevali being sold into prostitution by her suitor Ramnik Lal and how she became a madam to a brothel in Kamathipura.

Gangubai Katiawad is a biographical crime drama based on the life of a real sex worker mentioned in the book Mafia Queens of Mumbai by S. Hussain Zaidi. The film revolves around a young man called Ganga (Alia Bhatt) who is sold into prostitution. As the plot got thicker, she became a celebrity in the underworld and her brother’s famous madam in the Kamathipua red-light district of Maharashtra.
