Sir is produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. Srikara Studios is presenting the film. J Yuvraj is the cinematographer, and Navin Nooli is the editor for the film. Avinash Kolla handled the production design, and Venkat composed the action sequences. Sir is going to be released in Telugu and Tamil on February 17 in theaters.
The makers of Sir movie have already released two songs. Dhanush plays Balamurgan, a junior Lecturer in Sir movie, which also stars Sai Kumar, Nara Srinivas, Samudharkani, Thotapalli Madhu, Pammi Sai, Hyper Adi, Shara, Aadulam Naren, Ilavarasu, Mota Rajendran, Harish Peradi and Praveena.

The Trailer shows the content of a college backdrop story and Dhanush seems as a junior lecturer. With a new release date, Dhanush’s Sir movie also got two new posters featuring the Nationa-award winning star. Dhanush’s action avatar was teased earlier in the stills and now, he seen in the midst of all the action in the new posters. In one of the Sir ‘s posters, Dhanush was in the center in his get-up while bodies of people seen lying on the ground around him. In the other still, he seen sitting on the steps, with the spotlight on him. In this movie song Mastaru is viral on all social media platforms. Balamurugan is a third-grade junior lecturer at Thirupati Educational Institute where he stands against the institutes, who provide education to children, in exchange for business profits.
Sir presents Dhanush in the role of a teacher, where he can be seen handling the school and college kids. The teaser that was released earlier showed Dhanush in an exciting avatar. The plot of Sir, which focuses on the importance of education, also looked promising.
