Movie Story:
Pardhu alias Naga Shourya is a gifted archer right from his childhood. Catching his talent, Pardhu’s grandfather Sachin Khedekar presents his rescues and joins him in Hyderabad’s most useful archery institute. Very shortly, Pardhu evolves the state champion making his grandfather proud. The twisting in the tale occurs when Pradhu’s grandfather passes away suddenly. With this shock, Pardhu gets addicted to drugs. The rest of the story is about how Pardhu clashes back in life and wins the world championship.

Movie Review:
The story of Lakshya has absolutely not a new-fangled tale that has tried for the first time. What is new, however, is the sport the makers have chosen to base the movie on. To overlook the highs and lows of a sportsman in a well-made film is never boring for sports lovers and the film produces on that part. Pardhu (Naga Shaurya) has always leaned towards the bow and arrow. His grandfather Raghu Ramaiah (Sachin Khedekar) fires his fuel and shapes his destiny towards a goal, the World Championship.
Ritika (Ketika Sharma) is the love of his life but director Santossh thankfully doesn’t spend too much time on the love path because there’s a bigger story to convey. The war that occurs in the first half is predictable, creating the archery game scenes a little obtuse. But the film gathers up the pace when it gets into the thick of things with well-placed dialogues helping it all. To no one’s surprise, Pardhu develops up from living a man-child and soon rises from the ashes like a phoenix. He wants to hold the championship he always coveted and his new coach (Jagapathi Babu) decides to help him with a lot more preaching than training. Director Santossh has absolutely done the right analysis on the game as he gets in a lot of elements from classic archery.
